Day 13: Short Run

Feeling better, which is always good! Took Miles to his tumbling and movement classes (they got to play in the sand of the outdoor volleyball court (which is fenced, so no cats!)) and then went to work.
1 hr Cardio Kickboxing (she started us out with a 1/4 mile run outside -- I finished first, yay me!)
45 min Pilates (OMG, I suck at Pilates... I'm going to say it's because my torso is so long. Yeah, that's it. Long torso. If it's possible, I'm actually getting WORSE at it. Meh.)
.5 walk
2 run (19:06)
.5 walk

It's supposed to start raining tonight... just in time for that long run outside. I'm going to try it in the rain. I'll just wear a hat so it doesn't drip in my eyes. I hate that.

HHAHAHA! Pilates definitely feels weird -- are you using the special machines?

No, just taking a class and doing the moves. They have all these strange and funny names, too... like "fire hydrant" where you raise your leg like a peeing dog... or "mermaid" where you stretch long in a side plank... "teaser" where you basically to a v-sit. Everyone's so serious in there and I just want to laugh. I mean, seriously, "fire hydrant?!"
