I did it! Sluggo woke up at 7am to run! The sun was shining and the sky was bright blue - I guess you can't help but be excited to start the day. It's strange what you notice when you don't have a job anymore. I noticed the smell of sprinklers this morning and that other people don't run in the mornings in San Diego (at least in my neighborhood). I didn't pass a single runner....just a bunch of people walking their dogs. My quads are feeling extremely sore today. I'm having difficulty sitting down...ugh. I actually have to brace myself to sit.
Thank goodness for OFF days.
