Hidey-ho!
I am joining the blog late in the game, but thanks for inviting me! So I have been running 2.2 miles each morning and every time I am almost home I feel like I am going to pass out. I can hardly breath and feel awful. There has been no progress over the past two weeks. I have felt pretty discouraged and didn't think that I would be able to run with you guys at the half marathon. Well today I had a breakthrough, I decided to run after work since it is lighter longer now with day light savings in effect. I ran my normal route and when I got to my turn around point I was able to keep on running it was great. I ran 3.8 miles which is the farthest I have ever run to date! I am really pumped because I think I might be able to really train for this race now. I am not sure if it is the day light savings, running after work when I have eaten two meals and several snacks, or the fact that I had a dream last night that I ran 7 miles without any problem!!! Whatever it was I am motivated now to do this!!!
