Day 27

Crosstraining!
  • 40:00 on "cross-train" setting on the Precor (inclined) elliptical. This was a KILLER workout--at a couple points the resistance was so high I could barely move.
  • 15:00, 1-mile walk on the treadmill with the incline set at "5"--still don't exactly know what that means, but my mom told me the hill near our house in Damascus (Preakness--not Kings Valley) would be a 5. It didn't seem super steep or anything, but then I was only walking it.
  • Strength circuit and stretch
Afterwards Dave and I went out for happy hour and then to an open house that one of Dave's co-workers was holding in his new condo. The condo was awesome--I'd never seen Sacramento from that high up! Today I'm going to do a bit of yoga and otherwise take it easy and get ready for tomorrow's long run. Happy Friday!
