Day 8: 2 + 1

Today's 2-miler was easier than I expected. Usually when I run outside it's still very early in the morning, and cold, so I find it a lot harder to breathe than when I'm running indoors on the treadmill. This morning, though, Dave and I went to the park at about 10am and it was already 60 degrees and sunny, so my lungs were much happier. I still don't have a stopwatch, but on these longs runs I'm more concerned with endurance than speed anyway. Dave ran the first and last half-miles with me; pretty good considering it was only like his second time running. All in all today was good. I felt strong, but also very glad to see the finish line :) ~R
