Day 16: Off!!

It was a day off, which is a good thing. Miles was up last night screaming in pain from his MASSIVELY enlarged tonsil. I have never, in 6+ years of motherhood, called the doctor in the middle of the night. I did last night. They said I could either wait until Monday or take him to the emergency room at Ft. Campbell (which is a 30 minute drive and usually involves at LEAST a 4-hour wait). The doctor didn't seem to think the ER was necessary, so we're waiting it out and dosing with Tylenol. Emma was up at 4:00 with her cough, so it was NOT a good night for sleep at the Brown house. My body would have staged a freaking revolt if I had tried to work out today!
