Day 36: Strength and Flexibility

Still have something strained in my right hamstring/glute, so I thought I'd take it easy today. I ended up doing an hour and a half of yoga, but stuff like Pigeon pose made me want to absolutely cry. I'm supposed to have an off day tomorrow, but I think I'll get on the treadmill and see how I feel.
Hey -- has anyone ever looked into doing a triathlon? There's a sprint distance triathlon here in late July, and I was thinking I might give it a shot. I just know there's a little more involved because of the transitions from sport to sport and didn't know if anyone had attempted it. I might wait until next spring, but it's always been one of my life goals -- it's on my "bucket list."

Hey Erin -
I've never done a triathlon. You should GO FOR IT! I know you'd blow through each of the events (esp. the swimming and running). If I didn't suck at swimming and if I didn't have a tendency to fall off bikes, I would consider a triathlon. :) Maybe it's something I'll look into next year.
