Yesterday after school I came home and did an hour of yoga, and I'm still feeling a little sore from it--I was doing some seriously deep warrior poses! Today was cross-training:
40 minutes on the elliptical
3-mile run (didn't check the clock--somewhere around 28:00)
1/4-mile cooldown
Strength circuit
I still need to stretch a bunch. My legs were feeling super tired still from Wednesday's run--this 3-miler was a bit of a challenge as a result. I'm thinking of taking tomorrow off and doing my long run on Sunday, instead; we'll see how I feel in the morning.
Before my workout I was perusing the magazines in the women's locker room, and happened upon an issue of AV Magazine. What does the AV stand for, you ask? Anti-Vivisection, of course! Hands down the strangest magazine I've ever seen there. I opted instead for Via, which had a crappy article on Sacramento in it. Slim magazine pickins at the gym today--I should have bought that In Touch when I was at Safeway :( Who will get custody of Suri?!?!!!?!!!!!!

I think reading the gossip magazines would definately make the workout go by faster. I saw your comment about some summer jams. I got promiscuous girl on my ipod too. Some songs I got were: Fergi's new song clumsy, Kanya West stronger, Gnarles Barkley's song Run, Micky Avalon's song Jane Fonda (its kinda dirty but funny, Brittney's Toy Soldier, and Reana's umberella! You may or may not like any of those but just some ideas!
