So it was 90 degrees when Running Girl and I decided to embark on our 6 mile run. It was very warm and the boardwalk was packed with people in bathing suits, on skate boards and bikes. It was like running through an obstacle course . I trailed behind Running Girl for most of the way, having her in front of me kept me motivated to keep going and not to stop and walk. On the way back not only was I sweating like a pig, running against the wind, but I was so dehydrated and EVERYONE had water, Gatorade, slushies, smoothies you name it they were consuming it. I wanted to stop by the beach goers with their big coolers and ask for a cube of ice to sustain me till we got back. It was quite a long, torturous run but WE MADE IT!!
I can't believe 7 miles is this weekend. YIKES...............

HAHAHA! I can't believe we have 7 miles next week -- THE DAY AFTER OUR RACE ON SATURDAY!!!! HAAAHA! I think it's supposed to be pretty cool next weekend so we won't end up melting away.
