Color Me a Mizuno Convert. Yeah!

Now i know why everyone swears by this brand. Took my new untested Wave Riders out for a 6 mile ride through my hills route yesterday. Unbelievable, airy feeling running in these shoes. Walking in them, they feel a little stiff and unforgiving compared to other brands. But running in them, they're so light and surprisingly soft. No foot, hip, knee pain, or blisters. Felt an extra pep and lift in climbing the hills. Took 1:30 off my 6 mile time as well. Kudos, Mizuno.

Holy cow! Congrats on the new Mizunos and the speed you've picked up wearing them. ha ha! Shaving off 1:30 is HUGE! Do you have a half marathon training schedule? If not, I can send you the one Rachel and I have been using.

Thx! I don't have a 1/2 marathon training schedule, but I'll be alright. I've kinda been pushing myself to the extreme with running 4x a week, between 20-30 miles, and lifting 5x a week, including blasting my core everyday. With all the exercise, I've upped my calorie intake from 1800 to 2200 to 2500 to 2800 calories a day and still dropped 3 lbs in September.
